Gezahegn Negussie Co- Founder born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is an accomplished professional with a solid academic and professional foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Addis Ababa University and, in 2023, completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration from the same institution.
Gezahegn’s career began in the financial sector, where he held various positions in financial institutions. 

After more than a decade of experience, including over 10 years at one of Ethiopia’s leading private banks, he discovered the immense potential of the coffee industry. This realization led him to transition to establish his own coffee export company, combining his personal passion. Gezahegn’s enthusiasm for coffee is rooted in two key aspects. Early in his career, he underwent extensive training in coffee cupping and earned certification as a cupper. 

This experience sparked his fascination with the unparalleled diversity of flavors found in Ethiopian coffee. Additionally, the relationship-driven nature of the coffee industry allowed him to explore various regions of Ethiopia, where he forged strong connections with farmers and suppliers. His commitment to cultivating meaningful partnerships extends internationally, as he frequently meets with clients in their home countries.

Through his work, Gezahegn remains dedicated to highlighting the unique qualities of Ethiopian coffee, fostering strong relationships across the supply chain, and promoting Ethiopia’s rich coffee heritage on the global stage. His entrepreneurial vision continues to make an impact in the coffee industry, both locally and internationally.
